With reference to the letter from this Dept. of April 22nd I am directed by the E. of E. to request you to inform Sec. Sir E. Grey that a despatch has been received from the O.A.G. of Hong Kong reporting that Mr. T.A.R. Mackinnon, late Postal Agent at Amoy, has refunded the sum of $173.84, which was claimed by the Col. Govt.
2. I am accordingly to request that the previous letter from this Dept. may be regarded as cancelled.
